How to start the selling process

We are always interested in buying used records, CDs, or cassettes, no matter how many you’re trying to sell. We welcome large collections—there’s no limit! They can be dropped off at the store or if you’d rather we come to you, we can do that too. We also buy used gear and we’re willing to talk about any specific pieces you may have. Fill out the contact form below with your information, as well as any details or questions. We’ll be in touch!

Ready to Sell Your Records?

Over the years, we’ve connected with people parting with records for all kinds of reasons, and our mission is to make it as smooth as possible, putting some extra cash in your pocket. Visit us at the shop during open hours, or we can bring our services to you!

What Records Are We Interested In?

We buy collections of all sizes! We’re seeking LPs, 12-inch singles, and 45s from genres like Soul, Funk, Jazz, Latin, World Music, Rock, Blues, New Wave, Industrial, Hip-Hop, Disco, House, Techno, and other Electronic styles. Generally, we look for records that resonate with our shop’s audience.

What Records Are We Not Looking For?

Our customers typically aren’t interested in Easy Listening, Big Band, Classical, Country, Soft Rock/Pop, or Showtunes. We understand the value of these genres, and we’d be glad to point you to local stores that might be a better fit.

Wondering if Your Collection Fits?

Key factors we consider include the condition of the vinyl and cover, the artist/group, and specific song or album titles. Condition is our top priority. Vintage records don’t automatically equate to high value, but if you’ve got timeless classics or rare gems, we’re interested. If you’re unsure, call or email us, and we’ll guide you through it.

What About Online Prices?

Online record prices can vary widely. We use multiple sales data sources to find a realistic market value based on what people actually pay, not just rare, high-priced “unicorns.” Our pricing reflects what will truly sell in our shop.

Considering Selling on Your Own?

You absolutely can! But consider whether you’re up for the grading, listing, handling, and shipping of records individually, possibly waiting months for each sale. If that sounds like a lot of work, we’re here to make it effortless for you.

Do We Buy Estates or Storage Locker Finds?

Yes, indeed! If there are records involved, we’re interested.
